Tony Balony and the Rubes are headed by none other than Anthony Walker (AKA Tony Balony by trade), founding member of the Real McKenzies and Vancouver's underground music scene. Joined by Walter Brady and Alex Koch on bass and drums, the band has just released their first CD, Standing Rubes Only. The thirteen songs on this disc are full-on stab at the heart of quasi-retro rock mediocrity.

The man, the artist, the band, the aftershave. The legend continues. Founder of pornobilly, over twenty years writhing at the core of the Vancouver underground scene. I, Braineater never lets it get stale. Every show is a forum for Jim's innovations in art, theatre and music so there is always something new and often surprising at a Braineater gig.
