The Dirt on the Down
and Dirty
Longtime Vancouver guerilla promoter and former
member of I,Braineater, Dave Bowes hangs around here most
often. Down and Dirty plays its cards where ever it can find
a game - these days at Funky
Winkerbeans, New
Brandiz, The
Railway and Venue.
Dave also publishes the ubiquitous Skinny
Magazine, Vancouver's bi-weekly music zine and the only
straight from the guts and the gutter music publication in
the city.
Down and Dirty is also associated with the
new Iron
Road Studios, a recording and rehearsal facility
located in downtown Vancouver.
